About the role:
Are you an experienced leader in social care who thrives on variety and making a real impact? We're looking for a Peripatetic Service Manager to support and strengthen our services across the organisation. This is a dynamic role where no two days are the same, you'll step into different services, lead teams, drive improvements, and help deliver truly person-centred support that empowers people to live extraordinary lives.
What you'll be doing:
- Providing short-term management support across a range of services
- Leading, motivating, and developing teams to deliver high-quality care
- Driving continuous improvement and positive team cultures
- Ensuring services meet regulatory and compliance standards
- Using data and insight to improve performance and outcomes
- Managing staffing, rotas, and budgets effectively
- Building strong relationships with families, professionals, and stakeholders
What we're looking for:
- Experience in a management role within social care
- Passion for person-centred support and inclusion
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Confidence working across different services and adapting quickly
- Good organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Comfortable using data and digital tools (e.g. Excel, PowerBI)
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent), with willingness to work towards Level 5
What else you need to know:
- You'll need flexibility to work across different locations and services
- Some weekend, night, and on-call work will be required
- Occasional hands-on support may be needed
