Join Our Team as a Domestic Assistant and Make a Difference Every Day! Sherburn House is a complex care service operating 24/7, supporting people with profound learning disabilities and complex physical health needs. We currently have 3 lovely ladies and 6 fantastic gentlemen living with us, ranging from 19‑60 years old.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitise resident rooms, bathrooms, communal areas, and offices according to daily schedules.
  • Perform deep‑cleaning tasks as required.
  • Ensure all cleaning supplies are used safely and stored appropriately.
  • Report any maintenance or repair needs to the management team.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations, including infection control standards.
  • Maintain a positive and respectful attitude towards residents, staff, and visitors.

What You’ll Bring

Previous cleaning experience is a plus, but your passion and dedication are what really matter. A keen eye for detail, a caring attitude, a commitment to making a difference, the ability to work independently while being a valued member of a supportive team, and flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends.
