We are looking for a Nature Reserves Team Leader with a passion for wildlife to plan the delivery of nature recovery across our reserve network. The successful candidate will be an experienced and inspiring team leader with a strong proven background of working in land management, conservation and nature recovery, with knowledge of wildlife habitats and associated species, particularly wetlands, woodlands and grasslands.

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the Nature Reserves Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading a small team to plan and deliver nature recovery work on our LWT Reserves, within the Region.
  • You will also support in securing funding and generate income for our nature reserves by supporting grant applications, developing project ideas, and identifying new opportunities.

This exciting and varied position requires someone with excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with a wide variety of people. A flexible approach to working hours is essential as some evenings and weekend work will be required to meet the needs of the organisation.
