Overview
The Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales is seeking to recruit a Welsh speaking Outreach and Engagement Officer.
Salary: £26,500 full-time (35 hours a week) fixed-term contract for 3 years.
5 days a week, flexible to include a regular weekend day.
Location: The Welsh Wildlife Centre, Cilgerran, Pembrokeshire.
Responsibilities
- Engage with a wide range of diverse audiences, developing partnerships, building trust, and co-creating innovative events and activities that use external activity providers as well as in-house skills.
- Work with our audience to understand the types of events and activities that will appeal to them, showing creativity and flair in delivery and planning the logistics.
- Deliver a programme that covers some week-days, weekends and bank holidays with activities focused on wildlife, arts and wellbeing.
Organisation
The Welsh Wildlife Centre (WWC) at Teifi Marshes is an award-winning building that has welcomed visitors to learn about and enjoy wildlife since 1994. We have recently secured significant grants from the National Lottery Heritage Fund and the National Lottery Community Fund to improve accessibility and inclusivity.
