Role Description
This full-time on-site role for a Massage & Beauty Therapist is based in Rushmere St Andrew. The therapist will perform a range of massage and beauty treatments, including consultation, tailored therapies, and aftercare advice. Day-to-day tasks include greeting clients, assessing their needs, preparing treatment rooms, maintaining hygiene standards, and delivering safe, effective services. The role also involves keeping accurate treatment records, supporting reception duties when needed, recommending appropriate products or future treatments, and contributing to a calm and professional environment.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in Medical Massage and Therapeutic Massage, with the ability to adapt treatments to individual client needs.
- Competence in Body Massage and Treatment planning to provide holistic, client-focused care.
- Experience or training in Shiatsu or similar complementary therapies is highly beneficial.
- Relevant massage and beauty therapy qualifications (e.g., NVQ or equivalent) and appropriate professional certifications.
- Strong client communication skills, a respectful and inclusive approach, and commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
- Ability to work safely, follow health and hygiene protocols, and function effectively in a team-based studio environment.
- Previous experience in a spa, wellness center, or similar setting is an advantage.
