Based Horizons (Reading, Berkshire) with two days per week working from home

Salary £34,000 pa

We are seeking a highly organised, proactive and professional Executive Assistant to provide exceptional support to our Chief Operating Officer (COO), a key member of the University's Executive team.

You will play a pivotal role in supporting the COO's interactions with members of the Executive team, the Senior Leadership Team and colleagues across the University, helping to drive efficiency, collaboration and effective decision-making. With a proactive approach and excellent attention to detail, you will anticipate needs, manage competing priorities and provide seamless executive support in a dynamic environment.

You must:

  • Have relevant experience in an EA or administration role supporting senior staff.
  • Be able to professionally and confidently handle a busy and varied workload, which is sometimes pressured requiring task switching.
  • Be digitally competent with strong communication skills, including report writing.
