FIS seeks an inspirational leader to deliver positive change. As the leading trade association for the fit-out and finishing sector, FIS plays a pivotal role in shaping industry standards, policy and best practice. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced CEO, ideally with deep sector knowledge, to further elevate FIS's voice with government, policymakers and key industry partners. The successful candidate will lead a compelling advocacy agenda, expand the organisation’s influence and build on its significant achievements to date.
The CEO will play a pivotal role in strengthening relationships across the sector and expanding FIS's network and community to influence policy, practice and behaviours. They will help create an environment in which high-quality businesses within the finishes and interiors sector can grow, succeed and prosper.
As the public face of the organisation, the CEO will position FIS as the authoritative voice of the sector, providing evidence-based insight and thought leadership on key issues and future trends. They will translate member perspectives into clear policy positions, lead impactful campaigns and ensure the sector's priorities are recognised by decision-makers.
Success in the role will require a collaborative and engaging leadership style, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, build influential relationships and balance the interests of a diverse membership. Above all, the CEO will ensure members' voices are heard, represented and championed, inspiring confidence through visible, authentic and value-led leadership on the issues that matter most to the sector and our membership.
About FIS: FIS is the not-for-profit representative body for a £13 billion finishes and interiors sector in the UK. The organisation exists to support our members, improve safety, minimise risk, enhance productivity and drive innovation in the sector.
