We are seeking an experienced Electrical Contracts Manager to support our expanding Electrical division.
Location: Head office – Brentwood, Essex
The Role
We’re looking for a dynamic and driven Electrical Contracts Manager to oversee the delivery of electrical contracts and EICR programmes across a wide range of social housing projects. This is a pivotal role responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage multiple electrical contracts across the region.
- Plan, organise, and schedule resources effectively to meet project timelines.
- Monitor project progress and financial performance against KPIs.
- Ensure full compliance with current electrical regulations and health & safety standards.
- Liaise with clients, tenants, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and a positive experience.
- Manage and support a team of electricians and subcontractors, conducting site audits and quality checks.
- Prepare and submit progress reports and documentation as required.
- Drive continuous improvement in service delivery, safety, and client satisfaction.
What You’ll Need
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
- City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent in Inspection & Testing
- AM2
- Proven experience managing electrical contracts, ideally in the social housing sector.
- Strong knowledge of electrical compliance and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership, planning, and organisational skills.
- Clear, professional communication and client liaison experience.
- Full UK driving licence.
