Overview

The Wiggett Group LTD is a trusted name in social housing property services, delivering high-quality solutions through our five specialist divisions: Electrical, Fire & Security, Roofing, Scaffolding, and Property Services. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Contracts Manager to support our expanding Electrical division.

Location: Head office – Brentwood, Essex

The Role

We’re looking for a dynamic and driven Electrical Contracts Manager to oversee the delivery of electrical contracts and EICR programmes across a wide range of social housing projects. This is a pivotal role responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage multiple electrical contracts across the region.
  • Plan, organise, and schedule resources effectively to meet project timelines.
  • Monitor project progress and financial performance against KPIs.
  • Ensure full compliance with current electrical regulations and health & safety standards.
  • Liaise with clients, tenants, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and a positive experience.
  • Manage and support a team of electricians and subcontractors, conducting site audits and quality checks.
  • Prepare and submit progress reports and documentation as required.
  • Drive continuous improvement in service delivery, safety, and client satisfaction.

What You’ll Need

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
  • City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent in Inspection & Testing
  • AM2
  • Proven experience managing electrical contracts, ideally in the social housing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical compliance and safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, planning, and organisational skills.
  • Clear, professional communication and client liaison experience.
  • Full UK driving licence.
