About Us
We are a successful and fast-growing company with a strong reputation as Social Housing Experts in Property Services. Our operations are delivered through three key divisions: Mechanical, Electrical, and Property Services. Within our specialist Electrical Testing & Compliance division, we deliver large-scale Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs), remedial works, and compliance services across social housing contracts. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service, operational efficiency, and high-quality outcomes for housing associations, councils, and private landlords.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Service Delivery Lead to oversee the management and coordination of our EICR electrical testing contracts. This role is key to ensuring testing and remedial programmes are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest compliance and safety standards. You will act as the bridge between electrical testers, supervisors, project managers, clients, and residents — ensuring smooth coordination, clear communication, and service excellence throughout the contract lifecycle. The Service Delivery Lead will also be responsible for monitoring performance, driving process improvements, and supporting operational planning across multiple electrical testing projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day service delivery of electrical testing contracts, ensuring work is completed on time, on budget, and in compliance with BS7671 and industry standards.
- Act as the first point of escalation for operational issues, resolving challenges swiftly and maintaining client satisfaction.
- Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and supervisors to align resources with programme requirements.
- Monitor performance data and produce reports to track delivery against KPIs, SLAs, and compliance measures.
- Support contract managers with planning, scheduling, and documentation to ensure seamless contract delivery.
- Identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements to enhance operational effectiveness and resident experience.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date testing trackers, remedial logs, and certification records.
- Represent the Electrical division in client and stakeholder meetings, providing updates on progress, risks, and performance.
- Contribute to the development and training of engineers, supporting best practice across the electrical testing team.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in service delivery, coordination, or project support within electrical testing, compliance, or building services.
- Strong understanding of EICR delivery processes, scheduling, reporting, and client liaison.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple testing programmes simultaneously.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and project management/CRM software.
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills, able to manage escalations and engage with clients.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly in a fast-paced contract environment.
Desirable
- Experience in social housing electrical compliance projects.
- Knowledge of electrical testing (EICRs), remedials, and certification requirements.
- Familiarity with KPIs, SLAs, and compliance reporting frameworks.
Other Requirements
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (due to office location and limited public transport).
