We are seeking a Production Operator to join our expanding operation in Milton Keynes. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high‑quality products through the effective operation of a range of machinery, while adhering to all health and safety policies and contributing positively to a safe working environment. The Production Operator will work within a fast‑paced warehouse and production setting, ensuring that output targets, quality standards and operational procedures are consistently met.
Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery and undertake manual handling of products as required.
- Achieve daily production targets in accordance with scheduled workloads.
- Comply with all health and safety procedures and follow company work instructions.
- Maintain product quality by inspecting first‑offs and ensuring defects are not passed through the process.
- Record production data accurately, including SAP entries and downtime reporting.
- Maintain a clean and organised workstation in line with 5S principles.
- Conduct basic fault‑finding and elevate complex issues to the Team Leader.
- Train on multiple machine types to support operational flexibility.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects or irregularities.
- Computer literacy, including the use of machine interfaces and data entry systems.
- Understanding of mechanical production techniques (desirable).
- Experience using SAP (desirable).
- Ability to work effectively within a fast‑paced warehouse and production environment.
