An opportunity for anyone with a passion for hospitality. The White Swan is looking to fill a position for Waiter / Bar Staff. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to join a passionate and friendly team in a well-established hotel with a strong local reputation. This position is open to local applicants who are available to work weekends and have consistent transport to and from work. Live-in is also an option with this position. The ideal live-in candidate will be respectful, considerate of hotel guests, and mindful of other live-in staff.
Responsibilities:
- Provide friendly, professional service to guests in the bar and restaurant
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare and serve drinks to a high standard
- Ensure guests feel welcomed and well looked after at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the bar and front-of-house areas
- Handle payments and operate the till responsibly
- Support the wider team during busy service periods
- Follow health, safety, and licensing regulations at all times
- Work independently when required, while contributing positively to the team
- Maintain honesty, professionalism, and a positive attitude at all times
