Night Porter

As a Night Porter at Heartwood Collection, you'll assist in the safety and well-being of our guests during overnight stays and maintain the smooth operation of the property outside key trading hours.

You’ll be key in delivering exceptional guest care, and ensuring that health and safety standards are met.

Also, be responsible for the cleanliness of the public areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Night Manager in ensuring guest safety and smooth overnight operations.
  • Perform cleaning duties and maintain property standards.
  • Handle late check-ins, early check-outs, and reservation checks.
  • Support night audits, including fire, health & safety, and security checks.
  • Prepare for breakfast service and provide shift handovers.
  • Follow emergency procedures, including fire evacuations.

About You

  • You’re responsible, reliable, and have a keen eye for details
  • Well-organised and able to learn systems and audits for overnight
  • Have the ability to work alone when night managers are off
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Night Porter/ Auditor in a hotel or hospitality setting
