What You’ll Do
- Work alongside the Head Chef to run the kitchen
- Manage day-to-day operations including service, prep and close
- Lead, train and inspire the kitchen team across all sections
- Take ownership of ordering, stock control and kitchen standards
- Contribute to the menu's development and take ownership for sections of the menu
- Be a role model for The Baker Collective values and food quality
Who You Are
- You’ve been a Senior Chef-de-Partie or Junior Sous in a quality kitchen for at least 3 years
- You’re a leader with strong people management skills
- You balance creativity with consistency and organisation
- You’re ready to step into a Sous Chef role and grow
Hours & Time Off
- 40 - 45 hours a week over 4 - 5 days
- 2 days off each week on Mondays and Tuesdays
- A mix of shifts including 7.30am till 3pm, 9am till 4pm, 4pm till 11pm, 9am till 11pm with a two hour break
- Closed on 25 & 26 December each year
