Our Role
We are looking for an exceptional Senior Design Manager for Online to lead The White Company\’s Digital Design team. Based in our London office and reporting to the Head of Creative, the Digital Design team sits within the wider Creative team.
The Senior Digital Design Manager will enhance and develop our digital offering by leading & shaping The White Company’s digital tone of voice aligned with the Head of Creative’s vision across all Digital channels. We are looking for a talented individual, with a strong fashion-led & user-centric aesthetic to bring The White Company’s unique proposition and brand personality to life.
What you\’ll be doing
Based in our White City offices you’ll provide a unique and tailored service in our Creative team to customers both internally and externally, going beyond the ordinary to create memorable interactions and deliver.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for shaping the design look and feel of thewhitecompany.com and driving digital innovation with a user-centric & stylistic approach across our digital platforms aligned with the Head of Creative’s vision.
- Collaborate closely with our in-house Creative, UX, and Development teams, as well as our external stakeholders, to deliver the digital experience for thewhitecompany.com.
- Lead and manage a Digital team consisting of: 3 Digital Designers.
- Evolve the brand’s digital handwriting and ensure smooth execution of all creative design output to create industry-leading work.
- Work across campaign, editorial & International projects including the management of The White Company’s weekly site content delivery.

What Skills & Experience You’ll Need
- Strong leadership ability in a complex and fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to drive change in a big organisation, with equal emphasis on process and outcome.
- Significant experience managing digital design teams within fashion or homewares retail, preferably in an e-commerce environment.
- Figma is essential
- Experience building web pages and apps and proficiency in Amplience & Hybris, Animation/Motion graphics are a bonus.
- Ability to think strategically and translate creative ideas into commercial objectives.
- Strong storytelling, communication, and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with the operations and procedures of a content production team
- Knowledge of digital trends, omnichannel marketing, online media, social networks
- Solid understanding and working knowledge of digital design including UI/ UX with a strong emphasis on mobile.
- Proven background in designing high-quality content for premium brands with a strong portfolio showing visual and interactive design work.
- Strong sense of ownership and ability to apply consistent design standards across all digital outputs at The White Company.
- Attuned to both The White Company brand, its competitors, and the wider retail landscape of fashion, home, and fragrance.
- Cross-functional working experience in BA, CX, UX/UI, and front-end design functions is essential.
