Our Role
As Junior Project Manager within the Home department, you will coordinate multiple projects across Home & Fragrance department, helping to deliver them on time, from initial brief through to approvals and final handover.
You will establish and maintain clear critical paths, bringing together key stakeholders across Buying, Design, Creative, QA, Sustainability and other relevant teams. You will keep projects moving by ensuring clear ownership, timely decisions and visibility of deadlines, dependencies and progress, with each specialist team retaining responsibility for its deliverables.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with project coordination experience within a retailer or brand. Highly organised and proactive, you will be comfortable managing multiple timelines, balancing competing priorities and bringing people together to deliver shared objectives.
What you’ll be doing
- Establish and coordinate the packaging critical path: build and maintain packaging project plans across Home & Fragrance categories, tracking key milestones from initial brief through design development, artwork, reviews and approvals to final handover, ensuring alignment with supplier deadlines.
- Coordinate multiple projects: oversee day-to-day progress across a varied portfolio, which may include product, packaging and departmental initiatives, ensuring actions are followed through and deadlines remain visible.
- Manage stakeholder communication: act as a central coordination point within Home & Fragrance, working closely with Creative and other key stakeholders to ensure everyone understands their responsibilities, dependencies and deadlines.
- Coordinate project briefs: help ensure projects begin with clear objectives, scope, deliverables, owners and timings, with the information needed for teams to move forward.
- Organise packaging reviews and sign-offs: schedule meetings, capture feedback, and track actions to ensure the right stakeholders review and approve work at the appropriate stages.
- Track delivery and handovers: coordinate the timely provision of information, specifications and other project requirements, ensuring teams have what they need to complete their work and hand over agreed deliverables.
- Maintain clear project records: keep project trackers and shared files up to date, providing visibility of progress, outstanding actions, decisions and approvals.
- Identify risks and delays: flag missing information, competing priorities, resource constraints or changes to scope early, escalating to your manager with suggested next steps.
- Improve ways of working: help develop consistent briefing templates, critical paths and reporting processes to support effective project delivery across the Home & Fragrance department.
