Our Role
The Digital Content Coordinator is responsible for the setup and maintenance of product content on The White Company Website to maximise the global growth of digital business.
Working as part of the Digital Content team as a key person delivering product launches and maintaining site standards across all The White Company locales in parallel with all production and trade initiatives.
- What you’ll be doing
- Product Launch
- Prepare and upload product images. Collate and upload product copy and technical information to the CMS.
- All site launch KPI’s are tracked and published across all stakeholders.
- Responsible for the execution of all product onsite; ensuring brand campaigns, trade activity and site enhancements are launched on time and to the agreed standard.
- Awareness of Editorial content for seasonal features and prioritised to the agreed deadline and SLA.
- Responsible for delivering content for our of Wholesalers and Concession websites, ensuring product information and assets are provided to teams to the agreed deadline and SLA.
- Be an expert at managing all aspects of the product set business as usual work stream including setting up product core information and embellishment materials to the agreed SLA.
- Monitor websites and troubleshoot any issues that arise to the agreed SLA.
- Ensure the product structure follows the agreed taxonomy for customer experience and analytics.
- Continuity lines are reviewed and updated season-on-season when needed
- Customer Experience
- Understanding of the digital customer journey and getting the customer to the right information, from initial visit to basket.
- Execute plans for product trading from initial site visit to basket, working with the Buying & Merchandising teams to ensure the correct product assortment is online to the agreed schedule.
- Taking responsibility for the selling attributes by understand the product range, regularly conducting competitor analysis and working with the digital marketing team to identify any key word opportunities.
- Ensure all brand assets are utilised and considered The White Company site experience; including videos, additional images available in DAM.
- Set the standard for QA of content and product across the wider Digital Trading team; ensuring work is properly checked before and after going live and encouraging teams to do the same.
- Understanding website performance and areas content needs improvements from better experience, systems, and ways of working across teams.
- Quality assurance on image and videos ensuring the correct product imagery is used, cropped and presented optimally throughout all touchpoints – from initial visit to basket.
- Workflow Management
- Adhere to Site Standards documentation and work with Digital Content Assistant Manager to recommend improvements and updates.
Accountable to ensure Site Standards are up to date and followed season on season.
- Coordinate and manage own workload with Digital Content Assistant Manager in adherence to critical path.
- Manage the loading of new products and imagery alongside system & process updates, campaigns, trading initiatives and housekeeping exercises.
- Identify issues with achieving agreed deadlines and escalate these to the Digital Content Assistant Manager where necessary.
- Proactively review queries and enhancements - web bugs, site walks, exit report and customer recommendation - to fast correct amends.
Work with teams to troubleshoot and improve the process and track root cause.
- Stakeholder Management
- Regularly communicate the status of content updates to the appropriate stakeholders in Digital Trading and Senior teams.
- Maintain a good relationship with all key teams – Creative, Buying and Merchandising – and use touchpoints during the week to gather direction of these teams as a whole and their top priorities for content.
- Be a champion of content processes across teams; making it clear when something isn’t working and why so you can bring the appropriate people together to fix it.
- Log any systems issues that hinder content with IT teams and use an appropriate system of prioritization to push the most severe issues to the front of the agenda.
- Display a customer service mentality when dealing with stakeholders, pre-empt questions, be prepared in meetings.
- Demonstrates initiative and ability to work independently and with teams to coordinate The White Company content.
- The skills & experience that you’ll need
- Experience working with imagery, and a basic understanding of Photoshop is desirable, but not necessary.
- Good understanding of Scene7 or other image management software is essential.
- Good understanding of Content Square or Adobe Analytics is desirable, but not necessary.
- Good understanding of websites.
- Good understanding of how content management systems operate.
- Excel, Word, Power Point. A good grasp of Microsoft Excel and confidence in handling data.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and within deadlines.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Work well in a team and independently and have a pro-active, ‘can-do’ attitude.
- Knowledge and passion about online, multi-channel retail and customer experience
