We're looking for a Digital Lead to spearhead our UEFA Digital Video content department. We are one of UEFA’s principal non-live production partners and this role is a hugely important component in our relationship with the Federation. Your Mission:
- To lead a talented team of Digital Assistant Producers, graphics operators, researchers and editors, delivering a large range of video content to UEFA’s own platforms and broadcast partners.
- To foster a collaborative and creative environment, from managing the staffing to giving feedback on work.
- To be one of the primary client-facing contacts between Whisper and UEFA, working directly with their digital content and marketing teams to bring their videos to life.
- To constantly innovate and evolve the department’s digital content output, ensuring we stay ahead of the curve season after season.
- To understand modern video production workflows while keeping a keen eye across emerging technologies, ensuring we leverage the latest tools to deliver exceptional content.
- To lead ad-hoc sponsor projects, delivering digital video content for UEFA's commercial partners, on time and within budget.
- To craft strategic content plans for major tournaments and events, meticulously planning staff rotas and resources.

The Skills You Bring:
- A background in leading a department that produces digital video content in different formats for different platforms.
- A huge passion for both producing and developing football content that you’re able to pass onto the members of your team.
- A strong understanding of digital video production workflows and processes.
- Extensive knowledge of and a passion for European Football and the culture around it.
- Experience of working closely with a client, liaising with them on a day-to-day basis as the main point of contact.
- A history of working with production management to produce budgets, manage rotas and book freelance staff.

Location: The base for this position is Kew, London.
Working Days: 5 day week, x4 days in office and x1 day WFH. You will be expected to work with the team to plan a schedule based on production requirement. Lieu days will be given for any days worked over a five-day week. Whisper offer the option of flexitime hours subject to production requirements.
Start: July 2025 – 12 month FTC
