We’re looking for an experienced Question Researcher and/or Assistant Producer to join our Whisper North team to work on the returning ITV daytime quiz, Riddiculous. The post would suit experienced Question Researchers and Question Assistant Producers with experience of working on high-volume studio quiz shows, question researching and writing and a love of riddles. Key Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the Questions team
  • Supporting the questions team with researching and writing questions for various games
  • Ensuring that questions are fitting with the programme's ethos
  • Fact-checking
  • Anticipate the needs of Producers and support with the management of the Question Researcher
  • Responsibilities in the studio include question and riddle prep for our gameplay team and presenters

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience of working on game shows, ideally in a question assistant producer role
  • Experience in writing questions for a variety of game shows
  • Experience in fact-checking
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong team ethic and the ability to prioritise workloads with ease, working in a pressurised team environment
  • Ability to work effectively with others and manage relationships in a diverse team
  • Ability to manage workload, especially if working remotely and away from an office environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing workloads, new systems, and technologies

Location: Whisper Offices, Salford. Could consider remote working

Working Days: Five-day work week, with four days in the office and one day working from home. Some flexibility is required, including occasional weekend work depending on production needs. Lieu days will be given for any additional days worked. Flexitime is available, subject to production requirements.

Start date: Various contract lengths: 29th June 2026 – 21st August 2026, 10th August 2026 – 9th October 2026, 17th August 2026 - 9th October 2026
