Whisper North is looking for an experienced Production Coordinator to join the team to work on multiple studio gameshows. The post would suit a PC with a strong background of working on studio productions, including experience organising high volumes of crew and contributor travel, processing DBS checks, managing purchase orders and liaising with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support to the Production Manager and wider team, ensuring clear communication of key production information across all departments, crew, and talent.
  • Organise call sheets and book travel for production, crew, contributors, and talent in the UK.
  • Negotiate rates with external suppliers and crew.
  • Support the Production Manager with budget tracking, including raising purchase orders, processing expenses, reconciling petty cash, monitoring spend, and liaising with the finance team where appropriate.
  • Processing DBS checks.
  • Managing purchase orders.

Knowledge, skills & experience
  • Experience in high volume studio programming, particularly gameshows.
  • Experience of managing supplier relationships.
  • Comfortable working in a busy, ever-changing environment.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • A proactive attitude to work and promoting a positive work ethic in the team.
  • Familiarity with broadcast production workflows & basic technical understanding.
  • Basic budgeting skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and production management tools.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and ability to refer up when necessary.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to react quickly to project changes.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing workloads and new systems.

Location: Whisper North offices, Salford.

Working Days: 5 day week, x4 days in office and x1 day WFH. This role will require a degree of flexibility and weekend working. You will be expected to work with the team to plan a schedule based on production requirements. Lieu days will be given for any days worked over a five-day week. Whisper offers the option of flexitime hours subject to production requirements.

Salary: Based on experience.
