The Whippet is looking for a Shift Supervisor to join the opening team at our brand-new pub just moments from Liverpool Street Station. Focused on well-kept cask ale and perfectly poured pints, The Whippet will be a small but high-volume site with a strong emphasis on quality, consistency and proper pub hospitality.
We’re looking for someone reliable, organised and hands-on who takes pride in doing things properly. You’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the pub, supporting the General Manager and leading the team when they’re away.
Responsibilities will include:
- Opening and closing the site
- Leading a small team during busy services
- Supporting day-to-day operations and standards
- Cellar management and maintaining beer quality
- Following and upholding compliance procedures and company guidelines
- Delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a great atmosphere
- Helping ensure every pint leaves the bar in top condition
What we’re looking for:
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Knowledge of cask ale and cellar basics
- Confidence leading a team in a fast-paced environment
