Bar Supervisor
Location: The Whippet - 76 Old Broad St, London EC2M 1QP
Salary: 14.00 Per Hour + Tips
Hours: 30-40 hours per week
Job Type: Permanent
We’re looking for a Bar Supervisor to join our team and help keep the pub running smoothly during busy shifts.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys hospitality, takes pride in delivering great service, and knows how to lead a team by example. You’ll work closely with the management team to make sure every guest has a great experience and that the bar is running efficiently.
What you’ll be doing

Leading and supporting the bar team during shifts

Delivering friendly, welcoming service to every guest

Ensuring drinks are prepared and served to a consistently high standard

Helping to open and close the pub safely and efficiently

Supporting with cash handling, stock control and ordering

Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation and licensing compliance

Training and supporting new and existing team members

Dealing confidently with customer queries and resolving issues professionally

Helping the management team keep the pub running smoothly
What we’re looking for

Previous experience in a bar, pub or hospitality environment

Experience supervising or leading a team is preferred

A positive, friendly and approachable personality

Good communication and organisational skills

Someone who stays calm and professional during busy periods

A genuine passion for great customer service

Someone reliable, responsible and willing to get stuck in
