Chef de Partie Requirements

  • Be able to demonstrate experience in a similar level position, as well as an aptitude for leadership
  • Candidates with skills in preparing high quality fresh food dining will be at a particular advantage.
  • Have the Right to Work in the UK

Chef de Partie Responsibilities

  • Be happy running a section ensuring high standards are maintained at all times
  • Assist the Head chef/Sous chef in the smooth running of the kitchen
  • Setting an example and guiding for junior chefs
  • To complete all training in a timely manner
  • To comply with the statutory requirements for fire, health and safety, licensing and employment law and to ensure that other team members are also aware of these requirements and are working in accordance with them
  • Ensuring that you can follow the Food safety laws and requirements
  • Have a positive and approachable manner alongside strong team player qualities
