We are seeking an outstanding, enthusiastic, and highly motivated Director of Standards – Pastoral to join our ambitious Pastoral Team from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for an inspirational individual who is passionate about enabling every student to achieve their full potential through a culture of high expectations and an uncompromising commitment to behaviour, attendance, and personal development.

The successful candidate will play a key role in driving the highest standards of behaviour, attendance, safeguarding, and student wellbeing. Working collaboratively with colleagues, they will help foster a positive, inclusive culture where every student feels safe, supported, valued, and empowered to thrive both academically and personally.

As Director of Standards – Pastoral Team, you will:

  • Champion the highest standards of behaviour, conduct, and attendance across the school, fostering a culture of respect, responsibility, and excellence.
  • Monitor, analyse, and evaluate pastoral data to identify trends, inform decision-making, and implement targeted interventions that improve student outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with Heads of College, safeguarding, SEND, inclusion, and senior leaders to remove barriers to learning and ensure every student is fully supported.
  • Lead and support the pastoral team in promoting student welfare, personal development, and the consistent implementation of the school's behaviour policy.
  • Build and sustain strong partnerships with parents, carers, and external agencies to secure the best possible outcomes for students.
  • Support and develop colleagues in delivering consistent, inclusive, and restorative approaches to behaviour management.
  • Contribute strategically to the wider leadership of the school, playing a key role in driving whole-school improvement and maintaining the highest standards of pastoral provision.

Actual Salary: £29,374 - £33,314

Working hours: 37 hours, Term Time Only + 5 additional days, working 39 weeks.
