We are currently recruiting an Apprentice Secondary Science Teacher to join our supportive and forward‑thinking school community. This role offers the opportunity to train as a teacher while working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (with the option of also gaining a PGCE). The successful candidate will carry out the duties of an apprentice teacher under the guidance of the Head Teacher and experienced colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend all apprenticeship training and complete required assessments.
  • Plan and deliver well‑structured lessons.
  • Promote positive behaviour and a safe learning environment.
  • Support pupil progress and emotional development.
  • Work towards meeting all Teacher Standards and completing the End Point Assessment.

Requirements:

  • GCSE Maths and English (grade 4/C or above or equivalent).
  • An honours degree in a relevant subject.
  • A passion for teaching and working with young people.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
