A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A NIGHT MANAGER AT THE WESTIN LONDON CITY

What you'll be doing...

  • Reporting to the Front of House Manager, you can expect your working day to include the following:
  • Serves as the property's Hotel Manager during the night and oversees all property operations, ensuring that the highest levels of hospitality and service are provided.
  • Represents property management in resolving any guest-related situation.
  • Manages Front Desk associates’ queries, training and overall development, working in close partnership with the Front of House Manager.
  • Anticipate times of overbooking, liaising with both senior rooms management and revenue teams to obtain satisfactory alternative accommodations.
  • In partnership with Security, takes responsibility for Hotel Security and Safety, extending to but not limited to hotel evacuations, hotel security issues, and health and safety regulations.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance is clean, professional, and appropriate to the Westin Brand; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
