What you'll be doing...
Reporting to the Sous Chef, you can expect your working day to include the following.
- Managing various sections of the kitchen and ensuring agreed standards are achieved
- To assist other sections of the kitchen in the production and service of food or the cleaning down of the section as and when required due to the workload
- Understanding and adhering to the company’s rules and regulations on policies and procedures relating to fire, hygiene, health & safety and licensing regulations.
- Ensuring a safe working environment identifying potential hazards and taking corrective action.
- Ensuring that all working areas of the kitchen, dry stores and refrigeration are maintained in a clean and hygienic condition at all times,
- Maintaining constant quality control of all food prepared and cooked, ensuring it is to the Head Chef’s and applicable kitchen standards.

To succeed in the role of
Chef de Partie , you will need the following qualities and skills
- The ability to adhering to the company’s rules and regulations on policies and procedures relating to fire, hygiene, health & safety, and licensing regulations
- The ability to manage various sections of the kitchen, whilst ensuring health & safety standards are met
- To be flexible in your approach, and able to assist the Sous Chef and any other members of the kitchen brigade when required
- A team player who thrives in the hustle and bustle of a busy kitchen department
- Someone who is passionate about food and willing to learn
- Previous experience in a similar role, at either Chef de Partie of commis level
- An understanding of quality control and kitchen standards
