We are seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Setter Operator to join our team at TWG. In this role, you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality components according to engineering specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines (lathes, mills, or other relevant equipment)
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions
- Select and install appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials
- Perform quality checks using measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, gauges, etc.)
- Adjust machine settings to optimise production and maintain quality standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Complete production documentation as required
About You
- Previous experience as a CNC Setter Operator
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible and willing to work shifts/overtime as required
Desirable
- Experience with Alkart and Esprit CAM System
- Relevant engineering or manufacturing qualifications
- Sliding Head CNC Experience
