About the Role: We’re looking for a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist with experience in the medical device industry to join our team. You’ll play a key role in sourcing, supplier development, and ensuring supply chain continuity in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage product end-of-life transitions and source alternatives to ensure supply continuity.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including obsolescence and long lead-time components.
  • Evaluate and qualify alternative suppliers to support second-source initiatives.
  • Track supplier performance and support audits and quality reviews.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on NPIs, sourcing compliant materials for new business.
  • Ensure supplier contracts, NDAs, and ISO accreditations are maintained and reviewed.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in procurement within the medical device or healthcare manufacturing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of MRP systems, supplier management, and regulatory standards (ISO 9001, 13485, FDA).
  • Skilled in cost analysis, BOM evaluation, and sourcing for complex projects.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills across cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft Office.
  • CIPS certification or equivalent (preferred).
