The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
Please note this is a 6-month FTC contract, with possible extensions. Reporting to and taking day to day direction from The West Group Business Intelligence Manager. As Power BI Analyst, you will be solely concentrating on the current Power BI and Power Automation launch and roll out across the Group and to provide assistance and guidance to the rest of the BI Team on this project - a Train the Trainer approach. You’ll be aware of, and contribute to company and departmental objectives, targets, and measurements.
Whilst working closely with, and collaborating with the Management teams and Senior Leadership teams across the business on understanding their needs and requirements, you will use a mixture of SQL and DAX to extract Direct Query data from our SAP system, and design, develop and initially maintain interactive and visually pleasing dashboards and reports to match initial requirements. Additionally to the Power BI element of the role out, you will also be required to have an understanding on how Power Automate and Power Apps can be developed to enhance the user experience within the Power Apps suite, incorporating the automation of internal email / Teams notifications through HTML output and the potential use of Paginated Reports.

- To act as an ambassador for the Company, promoting a positive image both internally and externally
- Ability to work effectively with stakeholders and other team members
- Strong knowledge of Power BI tools and functionalities, including data modeling, DAX, and report creation
- Capability to identify and resolve technical issues
- Affect regular communication between relevant stakeholders
Required Job Skills:
- Relative Power BI/Power Automate/Power Apps experience to a minimum of 3 years
- Good analytical skills
- Proactive and positive attitude, with the ability to support team members
- Work well independently and within a team and ability to self-motivate
- Knowledge and experience of financial processes would be useful
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications
