Reporting to and taking day-to-day direction from The West Group Business Intelligence Manager, you will provide detailed analysis of financial and non-financial data and KPIs to drive sales and operational performance, while working with SAP B1 to improve efficiencies in deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate data analysis across the group
- Work with Directors, Heads of Departments, and individuals to understand reporting needs
- Assist with data analysis including risk evaluation, forecasting, and trend analysis
- Support SAP B1 queries via the Raise A Ticket portal and assist development across the business
- Monitor accuracy and integrity of system data, including housekeeping of redundant data
- Identify data issues and monitor improvements across group companies
- Assist with and prepare SAP B1 reporting, queries, and departmental data requests
- Update and amend Crystal Report layouts where required
Skills:
- Knowledge of financial processes is beneficial
- Preferably educated to graduate level in finance or business
- Working knowledge of SAP B1 or similar SQL/Oracle databases
- Strong Excel, Power Query, and Power BI skills with attention to detail
- Well organised, trustworthy, and able to manage time and multi-task
- Ability to work independently and within a team, with strong self-motivation
- Good communication and people skills with staff, customers, and suppliers
- Willingness to complete essential but more routine tasks
