Job Title: Apprentice IT Support Technician
Location: Waterlooville (PO7)
Hours of Work: 37.5 Hours a Week
Salary: Β£15,500.00 - Β£16,500.00 (First Year Apprenticeship)

Role Overview:
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join IT as an Apprentice, working towards a recognised Level 3 IT Support Technician qualification while gaining hands-on, real-world experience across a busy, varied group IT function. You will work closely with the Group IT Infrastructure Manager and IT Technician, building your skills from first-line support fundamentals through to wider infrastructure and project work.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide first-line IT support to colleagues across TWG, AEP and SBR logging, triaging and resolving tickets, and escalating where appropriate.
Assist with new starter and leaver processes, including hardware setup, account creation, and equipment collection.
Support the deployment, configuration and basic maintenance of desktops, laptops, mobile devices and peripherals.
Assist with day-to-day administration of Microsoft 365 (users, licensing, SharePoint, Teams) under supervision.
Help maintain accurate records of IT assets, licences and documentation.
Support the team with basic network and printer troubleshooting.

Required Skills and Experience:
No formal IT qualification required full training will be provided through the apprenticeship. GCSE Mathematics and English (or equivalent) desirable. No prior IT work experience is required. Any personal interest or experience with computers, technology or troubleshooting is an advantage.

A genuine interest in IT and technology, with a willingness to learn.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Comfortable working with people at all levels across the business.
Well organised, with good attention to detail.
Enthusiastic, conscientious and keen to develop.
A team player who is also comfortable working independently once trained.
Reliable, with a proactive and positive attitude.
Trustworthy and able to handle confidential information appropriately.
