This role is a contributing member of the Wendy's Creative team, responsible for creating, maintaining, and delivering brand communication solutions for Wendy’s International with a focus on the UK Market. Collaborating with multiple teams across the company, the graphic designer should be able to take written or spoken ideas and convert them into design elements across a number of mediums. The role requires very close partnership with the International Restaurant Support Center team, local UK teams, and agency partners to deliver creative solutions that support Wendy’s brand vision. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, can quickly turn around high-quality work and is comfortable taking direction and executing with minimal oversight. This Graphic Designer role requires a proactive mindset, strong organizational skills, and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities with ease.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with multiple teams to fulfill creative assignments (product assets, local restaurant marketing) that is accurate, on time, on budget and an effective solution to the given communication challenge.
  • Execute creative/design projects from inception to completion to support UK and Europe.
  • Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within the established brand identity via multiple work streams.
  • Manage the design, uploading and localization process for all project materials using the international content management system platform, allowing Franchisees to access current and new international brand & marketing assets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • 2+ years of related experience in graphic design and/or production design for a fast-paced restaurant, retail or agency environment.
  • Mastery of standard design software and internal systems to facilitate daily job responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of principle marketing strategies and concepts that optimize consumer communication/persuasion.
  • Ability to deliver compelling presentations of creative work.
  • Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to deliver on time.
