The Wellness is a doctor-led clinic in London focused on prevention, advanced diagnostics, and personalised care for individuals and organisations. We support high-performing individuals through comprehensive executive health assessments, biomarker analysis and tailored health plans that go beyond the standard annual check-up, and we design bespoke corporate Wellness programmes, from on-site assessments and preventative screenings to strategic consulting that improves productivity and talent retention. Grounded in functional medicine and cutting-edge diagnostics, we address sleep, stress, hormones, nutrition, and lifestyle in an integrated way with the aim of preventing health issues before they arise and helping people sustain long-term performance and wellbeing. We're also a growing health tech company.
As a clinician at The Wellness, you get full access to WA, the platform we've built so doctors can spend their time with the patient instead of on admin. Notes that write themselves. An ambient scribe drafts your consultation note as you go. You simply review, edit, and sign. Letters in seconds. Referral letters, clinic letters, and patient explanations are drafted straight from the consult, carrying your name, your registration, and your signature. Evidence, cited. Clinical questions answered in seconds from current guidance and the most recent peer-reviewed research, every answer cited, so you can trust and check it. A real clinical record. Your encounters and documents live in a clinician friendly workspace, not a notes app.
This is an ad hoc, sessional GP role providing holistic, preventative-focused care to our individual and corporate clients. The majority of your sessions will be delivered via Telehealth, with some in-person consultations and the potential for occasional home visits. Our clinic is open seven days a week, so you can build sessions around your existing commitments and other roles.
Day to day, you will:
- Deliver focused telephone and video consultations for time-sensitive needs such as prescriptions, fit notes, and other routine clinical requests
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments and interpret advanced diagnostics and biomarker results
- Apply functional medicine principles, monitor outcomes, and coordinate with allied health professionals
- Contribute to the design and delivery of corporate Wellness programs and on-site health screenings
- Take part in internal case discussions, continuous professional development, and the refinement of clinical protocols to ensure evidence-based, high-quality care
What we're looking for:
- GMC registration (with a licence to practise) and eligibility to work as a GP in the UK.
- At least 10 years' experience as a practising GP, managing a broad range of adult health concerns
- Genuine interest in functional medicine, preventative care, and advanced diagnostics (e.g. biomarkers, hormone and metabolic testing)
- Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex medical information clearly and empathetically to a diverse patient base
- Comfort working with executive and corporate clients, including corporate wellness initiatives and on-site assessments
- Confident working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, with strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Based in or around London
