We are seeking a highly motivated sales executive to undertake sales to clients and also encourage delegates to book our industry leading conferences. The ideal candidate will have previous sales experience, excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Essential Responsibilities
- Sales Generation: Proactively identify and pursue sales opportunities to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to drive repeat business and secure future sales.
- Lead Generation: Utilise various channels, including phone calls, emails, and networking, to generate leads and convert them into sales opportunities.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience for delegates, address inquiries, and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to develop effective sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and targeted messaging to drive delegate attendance.
- Feedback and Improvement: Gather feedback from clients and delegates to continuously improve our events and enhance the delegate experience.
Qualifications & Characteristics
- Track record in sales, with a minimum of 18 months experience in B2B sales.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate value propositions effectively.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Reporting to Sales Director
- Self‑motivated and results‑driven, with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience in the events industry or related field is a plus
