We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and versatile Hairdresser to join their team in Bristol on a full-time basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented hair professional with experience working across Asian, Afro-textured/Black and European hair types. Our client is looking for someone with strong technical ability, a passion for hairdressing and the confidence to deliver personalised services to a diverse clientele.
The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of different hair textures, styling techniques and individual hair care needs, while maintaining excellent customer service and professional standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering a range of professional hairdressing services to a high standard.
- Cutting, styling and finishing different hair types and textures.
- Demonstrating confidence and technical knowledge when working with Asian, Afro-textured/Black and European hair.
- Consulting with clients to understand their requirements and recommend suitable styles and treatments.
- Providing advice on hair maintenance, styling and aftercare.
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and salon presentation.
- Building strong client relationships and encouraging repeat appointments.
- Keeping up to date with current hair trends, techniques and industry developments.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure an excellent client experience.
About You
- Proven experience as a Hairdresser or Hairstylist.
- Demonstrable experience working with Asian, Afro-textured/Black and European hair types is essential.
- Strong cutting, styling and finishing skills.
- Excellent consultation and communication skills.
- A creative approach and attention to detail.
- A professional, friendly and client-focused manner.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A commitment to delivering consistently high standards.
