A beautiful retreat based in the heart of Essex countryside is looking for a beauty therapist / spa therapist to join their vibrant team. They are looking for full time or part-time therapists that can be flexible and include 50% of weekends in their availability on a rolling rota.
Salary: 24,000 – 26,000 (based on a 40 hour week) Plus commission
- Currently shifts are between 9.15 and 6.30pm.
- Weekend availability needed
- Product House Training given
- Commission on products and treatments
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Beauty Therapy.
- Significant working experience as a beauty therapist and of making appropriate recommendations to suit individual clients and delivering a range of therapies and beauty/skincare treatments to the highest standards.
- Working experience of successfully building and maintaining a clientele and of efficiently maintaining client records, both manually and electronically.
- Working experience of effectively implementing hygiene/health and safety procedures within a beauty salon and/or spa environment and of maintaining equipment and products to high standards.
Personal Qualities
- Reliable and punctual attendance, with very smart appearance suitable for customer facing role in a high-end establishment.
- Able to interact with clients with utmost diplomacy and discretion at all times, and to behave in a discrete and dignified manner with colleagues. Demonstrable interest in spa and beauty therapies and treatments, keeping up to date with the latest trends, with a desire to commit to required training and development.
- Personable, articulate and able to converse confidently and professionally with clients.
- Physically capable of providing massage and other physically demanding therapies every working day.
- A people person with a strong personal commitment to customer service and quality.
- Trustworthy and discreet.
