Location: The Wellington Hospital, London
Hours: Fullâtime, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09:00â17:30 with weekend and bank holiday rota.
Contract: Fixedâterm until 30 June 2026.

Role Overview
We are looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join our team at The Wellington Hospital. As a key member of the pharmacy team, you will work closely under senior pharmacy colleagues to provide highâquality, patientâfocused pharmacy services across the Wellington Hospital sites.
Responsibilities
- Work across core pharmacy operations: dispensary, procurement, stock control, medicines distribution and ward topâup services.
- Support the dayâtoâday running of the pharmacy.
- Report to the Senior Pharmacy Technician and collaborate with the Head Technician and/or Pharmacists.
- Help meet departmental Key Performance Indicators and contribute to continuous service improvement.
What Youâll Bring
- Strong relationship building skills.
- Registration with a relevant professional body.
- NVQ3 in Pharmacy or BTEC in Pharmaceutical Sciences, or an equivalent pharmacy technician qualification.
- General knowledge of drug therapy.
- Experience in a hospital environment (desirable).
- Knowledge of Meditech (desirable).
- Experience with Omnicell Automated Dispensing Cabinets (desirable).
