The Well Walk Theatre is looking for a dynamic and reliable second to our Café Manager to join our small, friendly team. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys cooking and baking, and who is happy to work independently while also being a supportive presence within a close-knit operation.
About the role
- Assisting the Café Manager in day-to-day operations
- Cooking simple dishes and preparing pastries
- Helping maintain a warm, welcoming atmosphere for families and visitors
- Taking initiative and keeping things running smoothly when needed
Hours
35–40 hours per week, daytime operations only: 9am–6pm
About you
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in hospitality
- Confident cooking skills; pastry experience a real plus
- Independent, proactive, and well organised
- Comfortable taking responsibility and using initiative
- Knowledge of French cuisine and/or French language is a bonus (but not essential)
