The Role

Full-time preferred, but part-time applicants will also be considered.

Are you organised, analytical and detail-focused, with a passion for healthcare? Do you have excellent communication skills and experience working in a healthcare administration or reception environment?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Administrator to join our team in Bottesford.

We are ideally looking for someone to work full-time, Monday to Friday, with flexible office hours between 08:00 and 18:30. However, we are happy to consider part-time applications for the right candidate and will discuss working hours and flexibility at interview.

What you'll be doing

As a GP Administrator, you will play an important role in supporting the smooth running of our healthcare services. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing and processing medical correspondence accurately and efficiently.

  • Identifying and assigning appropriate medical codes and information.

  • Matching correspondence and clinical information accurately to patient records.

  • Maintaining the accuracy and integrity of medical records.

  • Communicating effectively with clinical and administrative teams.

  • Working with sensitive and confidential patient information.

  • Supporting the wider team with healthcare administration as required.

About you

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Previous healthcare administration or reception experience (preferred).

  • An understanding of medical terminology and coding (advantageous).

  • The ability to work accurately and independently.

  • A professional, organised and proactive approach.

  • A genuine interest in working within primary healthcare.
