What you’ll do
- Project Delivery & Governance: Lead the end-to-end delivery of priority HR and Employee Experience projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with Weir’s strategy and principles. Daily activities include planning, risk management, maintaining project artefacts such as charters and RAID logs, and escalating issues as needed. Success means delivering measurable business and colleague value through effective project execution.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with HR leaders, sponsors, and cross-functional partners, including HRBPs and Centres of Excellence. Facilitate governance forums and provide clear updates to senior stakeholders, ensuring effective decision-making and ownership of actions.
- Change & Adoption: Collaborate closely with Change, Communications, and HR colleagues to support smooth change management and adoption of project outcomes, considering impacts on colleagues and leaders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate delivery across HR functions such as Talent & OD, Reward, TA, Payroll, HR Technology, Data, and Communications, managing dependencies within the HR portfolio to ensure seamless execution.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to enhance project delivery capabilities and consistency across HR initiatives, contributing to the maturity of HR project management practices and tools.

What you’ll bring
- Must-haves: Proven experience delivering complex projects within HR, People, Change, or Transformation environments. Excellent project management skills including planning, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and reporting. Experience working with senior leaders in complex, matrixed organizations, preferably within financial services or similar project-based HR models. Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex information into clear, concise messages.
- Nice-to-haves: Experience delivering HR transformation, process change, or technology-enabled initiatives such as Workday or learning management systems like Sana Learning. Knowledge of HR operating models, HR services, or employee lifecycle processes. Formal project management qualifications or training (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, PMP) or equivalent practical experience. Experience in global organizations with exposure to different legislative and cultural environments.
