Change Lead

Purpose of Role: At Weir, we don’t just adapt to change – we lead it. As our Change Lead, you’ll be at the heart of driving transformation across our global business, collaborating with programme and cross-functional teams to deliver smooth, effective transitions that align with our strategic goals. You’ll champion our Weir Change Framework, facilitate clear communication, and build stakeholder engagement, ensuring our people, processes, and purpose move forward together. By anticipating resistance and fostering a culture of adaptability, you’ll help maximise the benefits of change and make a lasting impact on our organisation.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive Strategic Transformation: Design and deliver change strategies that align with Weir’s business vision, guiding teams through transformation and embedding meaningful change across our organisation.
- Champion the Weir Approach to Change Management: Lead with consistency and excellence by applying our framework to change initiatives, ensuring every project reflects our values and delivers measurable outcomes.
- Inspire and Influence: Build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Communicate the “why” and “how” of change with clarity, fostering engagement and commitment to our shared journey.
- Manage the People Side of Change: Analyse and understand the impact of change on people to craft tailored communications, deliver impactful training, and cultivate a culture of transparency, adaptability, and continuous improvement.
- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviours in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications
- Recognised Change Expertise: You hold a formal qualification in change management (such as Prosci or equivalent), backed by a strong track record of designing and delivering change strategies in large, fast-paced, and complex global organisations.
- Commercially Minded, Strategically Driven: With deep expertise in change management and strong commercial awareness, you act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and stakeholders, translating business needs into actionable change plans that deliver real impact.
- Project Leadership with Purpose: You thrive in ambiguity, juggle competing priorities with ease, and build strong stakeholder relationships that drive engagement and momentum.
- Tools That Drive Change: You’re proficient in MS Office and know how to select the right tools to communicate effectively, secure stakeholder buy-in, and support change adoption. A degree or equivalent qualification, or relevant experience, is essential.
