2 roles – 1 North of England, 1 South of England. 4 days travel, 1 day at home.

Purpose of Role: Technical Sales Engineer is a field-based role to cover (Area) of England and offers a unique opportunity to become a key member of a new, dynamic and goal-oriented team growing the Key Accounts in some of the largest Sand & Aggregate market worth over 10m of business a year with the potential to contribute to the growth of the current defined territories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviours in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
  • The ability to grow bottom-up business with new customers with a proactive approach to selling.
  • Represent Weir in-front of the customer whilst offering technical guidance & product demonstrations.
  • Problem solving and optimisation on our customer’s plants.
  • Maintain the CRM system for opportunities and sales pipeline.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

  • Proven Track record in External technical Sales Role.
  • Engineering Qualification or experience in the application-based sales.
  • Have a good working knowledge of the key related industries including sand and gravel, Mineral processing, industrial applications and solution selling.
  • Must be permanently authorised to work in the country to which you are applying, without sponsorship, have a full UK driving licence and fluent in English.
