The successful candidate will be responsible for covering all engineering requirements for multiple factories/facilities. Reporting to our Senior Engineering Manager, the role is accountable for maintaining the integrity, reliability and safety of Weetabix’s electrical equipment. This includes equipment strategy, management of day-to-day maintenance and ensuring compliance.
The Recipe (About the Role)
- Guide the development and execution of electrical and controls obsolescence plans
- Provide a single point of leadership for all Weetabix electrical standards across the site
- Ensure the controls team maintains and develops the necessary skills to support and enhance operational capability
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for:
- Electromagnetic Fields (EMF)
- Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER)
- Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations (DSEAR)

- Degree, HND or equivalent in Electrical Engineering Discipline
- Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to optimise team performance and development
- Experience in budget management
