The Recipe (About the Role)
In this exciting role, you will be responsible for defining, designing, and implementing innovative technology solutions tailored to achieve specific business objectives. Collaborating closely with a diverse range of colleagues—including business stakeholders, developers, and systems administrators—you will develop systems that are not only efficient but also highly effective, perfectly aligning with Weetabix’s strategic goals.
- Work with stakeholders to develop scalable, reliable, and secure solution designs.
- Design solutions to automate processes for improved efficiency and data-driven decisions.
- Identify risks in designs and propose mitigation strategies.
- Create and maintain architectural documentation, including system diagrams and specifications.
- Stay updated on industry trends, including AI, to ensure continuous improvement and innovation.
- Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and work with cross-functional teams.
- Ensure solutions meet security and regulatory requirements, participating in audits.
- Provide technical guidance to development teams and review designs for compliance with standards.
- Participate in architectural forums within the organisation.
- Leverage core systems like PowerPlatform and Boomi in solution designs for scalability.
- Design systems with Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery capabilities, including testing protocols.
The Ingredients (What we need from you)
Key Know How:
- Experience in creating architectural designs for business solutions including integrations and automation.
- In-depth knowledge of architectural principles, design patterns and software development methodologies.
- Experience and technical knowledge of Boomi or similar integration systems.
- Experience on Azure or other cloud-based platforms including AI services.
- PowerPlatform / PowerApps / PowerAutomate experience.
- IT Service experience (ideally ITIL exposure).
- The ability to create high-level and low-level technical designs to meet business requirements.
- Understanding of development principles and lifecycles relating to business applications and data management systems.
- Good understanding of businesses processes and ERP / supporting systems including WMS & APS (Advanced Planning System).
Nice To Have:
- FMCG/Retail/Manufacturing background.
- Experience in AI solution design and deployment.
- Intermediate SQL language experience; scripting / development language skills.
- Experience or knowledge of Extract Transform Load (ETL) and/or Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools.
- SOX exposure or experience.
