Interview process: Two Stage Interview Process
Working pattern: Hybrid but you will need to be flexible depending on team tasks and resources. Weetabix Wednesday is a non-negotiable where we all come into the office for business partnering and meetings.
The recipe!
The primary goal of this position is to enhance the company's spending efficiency within designated categories while boosting profitability and working capital. You will be tasked with executing Category Strategies, cultivating a robust supply base, and managing supplier performance in alignment with agreed upon SAQSCI standards: Safety, Assurance of Supply, Quality, Service, Cost, and Innovation.
- Source supplies based on specifications and business needs
- Implement new suppliers via the Weetabix Strategic Sourcing Process
- Manage supplier performance per contract terms
- Update KPIs to support functional metrics and take corrective actions as needed
- Contribute to forecasting and budgeting for allocated spend areas to achieve financial targets
- Collaborate with stakeholders to optimise supply base performance
- Lead projects and support procurement strategies for allocated categories
- Conduct risk assessments of suppliers and implement mitigation actions
- Utilise procurement best practices and techniques
- Communicate market driver impacts related to categories
- Use procurement technology for sourcing, spend, and contract management
- Ensure expenditure adheres to approved sourcing processes
Requirements
Non-negotiables:
- Procurement/Buying experience
- Professional and Technical experience in Strategic Sourcing / Category Management / Managing Tenders / Contract Management and Fulfilment
- Stakeholder Management; Skilled negotiator; Highly analytical
- Skilled in supplier relationship management with strategic suppliers
- Able to influence effectively; uses logic and empathy to make informed decisions; good communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Competent project management skills with a short, medium- and long-term view of impact
- Alignment to Weetabix values

- Have the ability to demonstrate how you keep up to date in your field of expertise

- CIPS qualified or 3-5 years direct Procurement Experience
