Working pattern: On-Site Full-Time

The primary aim of this position is to be a dynamic and visible leader on the factory floor, spending 80% of your time engaging with the team. In this role, you’ll support the Shift Manager and step in as their deputy, overseeing the safe production process from incoming materials to finished products. Your exceptional leadership on the factory floor will be crucial in ensuring that we meet our key performance indicators for safety, quality, productivity, cost, delivery, and team engagement.

  • Ensure compliance with legal, food safety, health, environmental, and people policies.
  • Manage team KPI targets and results.
  • Oversee day-to-day team and factory operations.
  • Provide direction and coaching to meet objectives and standards.
  • Train and develop team to maintain necessary skills.
  • Effectively deploy resources to achieve results.
  • Deliver daily Management Operating System (MOS).
  • Support shift improvement projects collaboratively, enhancing manufacturing processes.
  • Perform responsibilities outlined in the Team Leader RACI document.
  • Deputise for Shift Manager when necessary.

  • Working knowledge of Business Improvement tools and techniques.
  • IOSH managing safety or willing to work towards.

  • Have the ability to demonstrate how you keep up to date in your field of expertise.
