The Recipe (About the Role)
The purpose of this position is to guide, manage, and enhance the factory operations across various balanced sectors. Provide strong leadership throughout the production process, from the receipt of materials to the delivery of finished goods for the designated factory. Ensure that the safety, quality, productivity, cost, delivery, and employee morale associated with the key performance indicators are met and continuously improved.
- Ensure compliance with legal, health and safety, and environmental policies
- Implement Manufacturing strategy to enhance performance and practices
- Accountable for factory KPI delivery across the balanced scorecard
- Make strategic commercial decisions regarding demand vs labour
- Provide supervision and direction to teams to achieve targets and drive change
- Oversee factory engagement, vision setting, culture, and trade union relationships
- Collaborate with functional teams to support improvement initiatives through data analysis

Key Know How:
- In depth knowledge of Manufacturing Operations
- FMCG manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of HSE and food safety and quality requirements
- Commercial awareness
- Brilliant at building strong cross functional relationships
- Proven track record of Continuous Improvement within a previous role
- Leadership, management & coaching experience, including large teams
