It offers both strategic and operational HR support across several vital areas. You will take the lead in essential aspects such as employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, and compensation and benefits. By working hand-in-hand with managers and employees, you will help create a collaborative and vibrant work atmosphere that promotes success and truly Makes the Difference.
Oversee employee life cycle activities including talent acquisition, performance management, onboarding, and employee relations. Embed local People Plans and assist the people agenda. Deliver effective talent management and succession planning.
Manage employee absence to reduce short-term costs. Coach line managers on employee engagement and performance management. Advise managers on recruitment with the central hiring team.
Assist with operational shift changes and organisational development. Develop relationships with Trade Unions and improve employee engagement. Provide HR assistance on operational issues and employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
Assist managers in achieving business objectives and ensure best practices are followed. Serve as a strategic partner on HR matters and drive performance management initiatives. Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
Work with L&D to identify training initiatives. Work with the HR team to develop and implement HR policies and initiatives. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in HR.
The Ingredients (What we need from you)Key Skills Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations. Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role, preferably within FMCG or Food Manufacturing. Experience of employee relations.
