The Head of Talent, Learning & Development is responsible for developing solutions in conjunction with Human Resource Business Partners and leaders in attracting, developing, and retaining top talent through end-to-end ownership of recruitment, learning and development, and early careers programmes. The role exists to build the capabilities, leadership depth, and talent pipeline required to deliver Weetabix’s long-term growth ambition.

As a critical Centre of Excellence within HR, the role designs and delivers Weetabix-wide strategies that ensure the organisation consistently attracts great people, develops high-performing teams, and creates clear pathways for career growth. Everything the role delivers is in service of the future business strategy: growing iconic brands, being the number one customer brand, identifying new breakfast opportunities, and supporting Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) activity through people capability and readiness.

Working pattern: Hybrid 2/3 Days on-site, including Weetabix Wednesday, where everyone comes into the office for some great collaboration and meetings - it’s a must! The Recipe (About the Role)

  • Lead the end-to-end talent agenda, including recruitment, learning & development, early careers, and talent pipeline planning.
  • Develop and implement a future-focused talent strategy aligned with business growth, customer impact, and innovation.
  • Embed the Brilliant People Strategy to attract, develop, and retain talent effectively.
  • Oversee the learning and development framework, including leadership and career pathway programs.
  • Scale early careers programs and collaborate with HRBP and HRLT to enhance succession planning and internal mobility.
  • Support organisational growth and change readiness, including brand opportunities and M&A integration.
  • Utilise data and best practices to continuously improve talent solutions and measure their impact.

The Ingredients (What we need from you)

  • Deep expertise in Learning & Development, with Recruitment and Early Careers experience desirable.
  • Proven experience designing enterprise-wide talent strategies.
  • Strong understanding of leadership development, capability frameworks, and career architecture.
  • Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Experience supporting growth, transformation, or M&A through people strategies.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of customer-brand organisations.
  • Ability to translate future business needs into actionable talent solutions.
