Be the go-to expert for all things plant engineering! Our team is seeking an individual to provide excellent technical knowledge and support for plant engineering issues along with short to medium-term projects. As the bridge between factory support teams and central support teams, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring seamless continuity and achieving high levels of plant performance.
- Support improvement projects, identify the underlying causes of engineering issues, and actively participate in continuous improvement (CI) initiatives.
- Manage non-routine contractors by carrying out Contractor Management Duties.
- Oversee and authorise permit-to-work activities in accordance with company policy whilst being an escalation point for lead engineers.
- Adhere to company practices procedures, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food safety standards at all times.
- Act as a mentor for engineering apprentices, providing guidance and support.
Recognised Electrical engineering qualification (HNC minimum) or Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent.
Experience in Food manufacturing environments.
